We're excited to welcome you to The Pirate's Cove, our Beach Bungalow on the Chesapeake Bay.
Enjoy the sunset from the balcony, the primary bedroom, or the water-facing windows! Gaze at the ships traveling through the bay from the telescope. In the morning, enjoy an espresso or latte at the Coffee Bar as you watch the sunrise.
Have all the family fun in the comfortable living room with large screen TV and board games.
Energize and refresh with hosted snacks and refreshments!
This home is one-third of a triplex on the top floor with the best views. Nothing is shared with the two properties downstairs. You'll have access to the entire home of 3 bedrooms (1 upstairs – the primary room, 1 downstairs- with two sets of bunk beds (two full and two twins); and a second bedroom downstairs with one queen size bed and two bathrooms. The largest bedroom has a king-sized Casper mattress and seating area. The kitchen is stocked with pots, pans, plates, glassware, utensils, serving trays, and ready for your cooking needs. We even have kid-friendly plastic bowls and cups.
The beach is a peaceful place and fishing is allowed. You will enjoy long stretches of sand. Nearby is Ocean View fishing pier and restaurant.
Quick access to I-64 to Downtown Norfolk for restaurants, shopping, and events!

There is one parking space. Do not park under the house. Guest parking is on the far left of the house. Parking on the street is not permitted.

Summary: The property’s location is perfect. Steps away from the beach that is private. The view from the property is unmatched. The deck/balcony is spacious and provides an amazing view of both sunrise and sunset. The furniture is nice and the kitchen is very well stocked with all needs. The coffee center is amazing. The owner was very supportive. There are few fixes in the house that need to be done but they are simple. Overall, we highly recommend this property.

Summary: This is a lovely property and Dwayne is a great host! The condo is right on the beach and the views are unparalleled. The Willoughby Spit is north VA beach, in Ocean View, and away from the boardwalk and usual beach bustle. We basically had the place to ourselves, besides a few people fishing and things. The condo is clean and very well-set up for guests. When we were there, we saw that a few repairs were needed (leaky window, missing light switches, etc.), but these were minor and did not impact our stay. Dwayne provides beach chairs, umbrellas, and lots of towels, and was very responsive to any questions we had. Would definitely stay again!
